School Accountability Committee
What is SAC?
It stands for School Accountability Committee and it is a state mandated committee that allows community members to be involved in educational improvement at a school.
Who needs to be a part of the School Accountability Committee?
Each school is responsible for establishing a School Accountability Committee (SAC), which should consist of at least the following seven members:

The principal of the school or the principal’s designee;

At least one teacher who provides instruction in the school;

At least three parents of students enrolled in the school;
-
At least one adult member of an organization of parents or teachers recognized by the school; and
-
At least one person from the community.
Interested in attending a SAC meeting?
Please join us! ALL are welcome and encouraged to attend. Meetings are held from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Cherrelyn Elementary School's Library. Below are the upcoming meetings and tentative topics:
