Choice Enrollment
The Englewood Schools Choice Enrollment application for the first round is now open.
First Round Enrollment:
- Opens: December 1st
- Closes: January 19th
Second Round Enrollment:
- Opens: February 1, 2026
- Closes: August 31, 2026
Who Needs to Complete a Choice Application? If you currently live or plan to move outside of the Englewood School District boundaries, or outside of the Cherrelyn Elementary catchment area, you must complete the Choice Enrollment application as well as the online registration. If you are unsure about your residency, please view the boundary map listed here.
Important Grade-Specific Requirements:
- 5th Grade to Middle School: Current 5th-grade students who wish to attend Englewood Middle School for 6th-grade must complete a Choice Application.
6th Grade to 7th Grade:
- In-Boundary: If your current 6th-grade student lives within the district boundary, you must submit the standard online registration and an updated proof of residency.
- Out-of-Boundary: If your 6th-grade student currently lives out of boundary (even if they were Choice Enrolled this current school year), they must submit a Choice Application for the transition to 7th grade.
Please Note: We strongly encourage submitting your application(s) in a timely manner, as spots are first come, first serve. In addition to the Choice Application, please remember that the standard online registration will open on January 14th, 2026, and must be completed in your Parent Portal each year as well.
